Synopsis

Over a century ago, sponge divers recovered a complex mechanical device from a shipwreck. Scientists continue to marvel at this machine, developed by the Greeks around the 1st century B.C., with its intricate system of gears that accurately chart the astronomical movement of the moon and planets.
