Synopsis

A celebration of Cuba’s eastern city of Santiago de Cuba and its Black and Afro-Cuban population—a place where colonial past and contemporary customs mingle. Over images of the university, the markets, and the annual carnival, the narrator tells ghost stories, travel tips, and tales of resistance.
