Synopsis

Ranj tells a murky, violent tale of a village youth, Amanpreet, trapped in a dead-end existence in a hostile city, when in truth all he seeks is a quiet life of a peasant. He yearns for his carefree days, his bride-to-be Geetu, and the familiarity of village life. When Amanpreet cracks under the pressure of a troubled work-life, the impending wedding, and his pennilessness, all hell breaks loose.
