Synopsis

Two friends, united by their chronic illness, take a road trip across the America West. Mads, who lives with Type 1 Diabetes, is returning home to South Dakota to renew her drivers license. Junior, who suffers from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 2, is re-living a similar road trip with her decased sister, Veronica. Between visits quirky landmarks and nights in cheap motels, a secret is discovered that could tear their friendship apart.
